Challenge
Historically, the international fundraising group operated in a highly decentralized manner, with each local entity functioning largely independently. While this structure enabled strong adaptability to local market conditions, it also limited the organization’s ability to fully leverage economies of scale—particularly in sharing best practices, insights, tools, and expertise. Moreover, this model made it challenging to attract top international talent, especially in the areas of Data, AI, and Analytics.
Solutions
In collaboration with all market organizations, we helped establish the International Analytic Hub—a true Center of Excellence for Data, AI, and Analytics—designed to harness the best models, insights, tools, and talent across the group. The solution was built around three core objectives:

The roll-out is still in progress, yet the group has already exceeded several KPIs aligned with the core objectives. Common global governance standards are now in place, including unified ways of working, systematic best-practice sharing, and international value tracking. A robust international data and machine learning platform has been developed to pool assets, standardize definitions, and deploy best-practice models at scale. Additionally, multiple market organizations have successfully recruited and trained top talent, enabling them to operate at a higher international standard and deliver Data & AI training to business leaders across markets.
